Apostolos Kirou

Apostolos Kirou was born in 1976 in Thessaloniki, where he lives and works. A sound engineering graduate of the Institute of Vocational Training (Cultural Section) of Thessaloniki, he currently works with the Evosmos Municipality. During the 2002-2003 period he attended the Photography Workshop of the “IRIS” Municipal Enterprise of Stavroupoli. Since 2004 he has been a member of the “Opseis” Photography Club. He has exhibited individually twice with “Opseis” and has also participated in three collective exhibitions.
He has attended video production seminars taught at the Thessaloniki YMCA Institute by film director Nikos Papadakis, as well as screenplay-writing and film-editing seminars at the E.S.P. Private Institute of Vocational Training. He has also been active in filmaking and already created two short films.
